Pros: Easy Tracker is a time and expense management software. It helps you with time management, expense management, project management and work management. Database used is the MS Access. It has several modules, the most important ones being Pro & Lite. The Pro module manages project related activities such as clients, project, task, resources and other related items. This module helps you manage the task assignment process, a solid reporting system, a workflow based approval process and analysis tools. The analysis tools are strengthened by graphical displays. The lite module helps with actually tracking the time & expenses being incurred on the assignments. You can auto track a task simply by double clicking on it.
Time being the most valuable assets the attempt by organizations is to optimize them as far as possible. The analysis of where the time was spent and where it is being spent is a direct indicator of where optimizations are needed. All work-related or billable time can be tracked and easy to reference in reports. This data can be accumulated and used as historical data. Tells you very accurately how well past projects were done and how the newer projects can be done better. You can get instant performance feedback too and use the data to tweak the processes in the short term. Use the reminder facility to accurately track tasks/assignments. The reminders appear as pop ups but you can use music, send e-mail, let a talking agent pop up etc so that you never miss a deadline.
